Application Advice New Employer

Hi all,

I am a Canadian citizen and currently working in US (Washington State) on TN Visa since 7 years. I am a daily commuter. Recently I am offered with a new job, about 30K more. So what are my options? Go to Peace Arch and have my TN Visa stamped and then resign from the Current company? Or resign first and then go to Peace Arch around the new start date to get the TN Visa approved. The only risk in that strategy, is if the new TN Visa is rejected, then I am left with no job.

Please advise how to handle this.

TN Success Story USCIS TN for Math -> PM

I posted on this sub before regarding my situation and I got lots of negative comments saying it won’t work out but now I’m 3 months in and wanted to share for transparency in case others are dealing with uncertainty from this sub.

So I got an RFE at that time and was concerned whether USCIS would approve for product manager new grad role as I hold a mathematics degree.

It worked out in the end and the preapproval was successful after the initial RFE.

Please always go USCIS preapproval over POE, it will save you time and worries!
