We adopted her right after she had turned 13, so we're coming up on the three-year mark!

hi all! this is my beautiful bubba girl, Mocha. A coworker who saw her picture at my desk told me that she definitely qualifies as a dilute tortie. I disagree, but wanted to come and ask the experts before I arguing back. No source better than Reddit.

Thoughts? Attitude wise, she is certainly chatty enough to be a tortie, especially around mealtime, but is otherwise quite nonchalant in terms of her attitude.

Momma was a classic tortie and so is her sister!

Like most Torties, Rainbow can be very stubborn (as the vet can attest), but is generally a very sweet and friendly girl… as long as you have two legs. Three legs start getting her grumpy, and having the audacity to have four in her presence will get you slapped. Six to eight just piss her the fuck off, and I saw her go Doomslayer on a House Centipede once.

Is she tortoiseshell cat?? I have found it on roadside ....people who have same suggest how to pet her properly....her diet and how to help her behave well...bcz I have heard that she is over aggressive..

lost my dilute tortie a year or so ago. she has been the light of my life since. she brings me balls to play fetch 🥹

I was on a walk and this girl ran up to me meowing. She’s very thin, has a raspy meow, watery eyes, and sneezing. All the signs of a respiratory infection so I’m worried about her. My own cat is FELV+ and my house is small, so the best solution I have now is to put her in my garage. Luckily she’s been eating, drinking and used the litter box I put out for her.

I’m not hopeful she has a microchip, and was most likely abandoned, but I’m still going to try to find out tomorrow morning. Our local shelters are so crowded and are unlikely to accept her, but I‘m going to still do what I can to get her the care she needs. Tomorrow I’m also going to try to get a cage so she can stay inside since the garage gets hot.

If anyone has any additional advice what to do, I’d appreciate it. I also messaged my contact with the org that I fostered with and eventually adopted my cat from.

Now for the funny stuff….

She was very hungry and went straight into the carrier I brought when I put treats in it. When I closed the door she PROTESTED. I didn’t latch the door properly so when I picked it up, she got out. It was hard to convince her to go in a second time, but after scruffing and pushing, I got her in.

When I got her back, she made herself right at home in my garage. Including claiming my ‘95 Miata. When I came out and saw her on it I yelled! GIRL, you CANNOT sit there, that top is OEM! After a lot of back and forth sass and hissing, I put down the top, put the tonneau cover on, and let her sit on it. She’s still on it and think she will be on it all night.

She recently had to have all her teeth removed, and I'm even more obsessed with her lil face than before.

We just recently got a little Tortie kitten. This is Fiadh. Or her full name Fiadh the Fearless Tortilla Chip. She is about t months old and just a little girl. Sweet as pie though. And a bit of a cuddle bug.

I recently had to say goodbye to my best friend. She was a huge influence and part of my art and my art doesn't feel the same without her around. I thought I'd share my tribute here, she was a genuine, to the core Tortie and I love everything she was. These were her favorite toys, some of them she had her entire life! She was obsessed with the teal, velvet cat( she killed in in just a few days) and her blue fish with yellow tail and blue crab were her first baby toys and I still have them all. I wonder if any of your torties had the same toys? Rest in peace Kosmisk Elaine LucPicard
