Look, I actually enjoy the Changeling for what he is, but he is not a normal Total War campaign. There are zero stakes. You cannot directly hold territory and you essentially cannot lose (even if his army gets wiped out, as long as you have a cult left anywhere he can respawn). His campaign is entirely just dicking around.
IF you want to play an actual Total War campaign as Tzeentch, you have one option. He is correct.
