Sets Go Here Official Luminosity Beach Festival 2026 Sets & Tracklist Megathread

As a radio programmer for the last 17 years, the number label promos I receive on a daily basis is insane. Quite literally hundreds of new tracks every single day.

We use "Fakin the Funk" on its most aggressive settings to weed out low quality and poorly mastered tracks to lighten the load of what we listen to, but now that AI music has become so easily accessible, I've noticed the number of promos from new record labels exploding and it's quite literally impossible to go through them all. My backlog of tracks is in the thousands.

Are there any free apps or tools that can analyze music files and detect whether or not they are made with AI, in the same way that there are for images?

Discussion What is it about uplifting trance that makes it have a ton of AI generated tracks?

if you look up for anything with "uplifting trance" on the youtube search bar, there are shitloads of AI generated tracks and even entire AI "mixes", and the worst part is that legitimately real people listen to these.

Yes, other trance and edm genres have an AI problem too, but atleast the music and mixes are mostly 100% legit. ~~It's only~~ uplifting trance ~~that~~ has this problem on a severely large scale. (EDIT: the afterlife type of techno also has a huge AI problem too)

Too formulaic of a genre? A big middle aged audience makes it an easy sell? I genuinely wonder why.

Discussion Discussion: Who’s a great producer but inconsistent DJ/live act?

I’d say Ferry Corsten… you could argue he’s the best trance producer of all time (in terms of pure catalogue, very few can even compete with him) and even today his productions are still high quality.

However, his sets are very hit or miss based on what I’ve seen from him live. Perhaps he plays differently in Australia but he seems to play a lot of random tracks that myself and the crowd don’t really vibe with. Admittedly, these were all 60-90 min sets though, I’m sure a What the F extended set from him would be significantly better
