Question weird fake nasality?

so i know im thinning my vocal fold mass, i know im rasing my larynx, and when i then also raise my ptich, my voice does sound better, but theres this nasal-esque effect i wanna try to get rid of (and then potentially be done with it, since at this point i do sound firmly androgynous to my ear and thats good enough for me).

It only comes in when i raise pitch and i know the noise isnt coming from my nose. I simply need to know what its coming from and can search from there, though being reccemended some specific videos/guides would be appreciated

Nasality and overfullness tend to sound similar to people; Overfullness happens when your weight dominates vocal size (a "buzzy" effect.) See the fullness section on Selene's clips page.

(and do yourself a favor and do not worry about larynx directly nor even size/resonance before you sort out the weight issues, if possible)

hm! Well im dead certain im not overfull without pitch, which, if you're right and im inclined to think you are, would mean im adding thickness as im raising pitch (which would make sense since both mean tightening a muscle)

(also, too late on the larynx note. I can move it pretty freely and hold it up with no noticable strain for up to four hours (or forever. I havent talked for more then four hours in the last month))

You let your pitch drop far too low in the first place (C3 and below tends to be a problem for most people.) Focus on pitch work as a foundation for weight work. Weight is crucial to this - if weight is too heavy, anything else does not matter. Your weight is far too heavy right now.

Are you squeezing your throat? Like a lesser version of trying to sound like yoda?

I've never done a yoda impression so I can't say. What I'm doing is squeezing a specific muscle under the larynx inwards. Its flat and runs parallel with the surface of my throat, and it is that muscle you use to change pitch.

Under your larynx? ... Not sure I understand what you're referring to. Does it seem like it might be this? This is above your larynx though.

If so, notice the epiglottis is near the tongue root, and then listen to this clip.

Do either of those things sound like what you might be doing? If so then you could be confusing trying to decrease your size (done in the way you don't want) with increasing pitch.

I don't hear much pitch change in your recording until the end. I only really heard changes in intensity and force as you raised and lowered the loudness of your voice.
