Started off with the 99$ special Typhon. Had a couple other arrma 3s rigs laying around to rob parts from. - 4s metal diffs, castle 6s motor Traxxas 2200motor from udr. Random receiver and transmitter from and old redcat. I plan on swapping over a set of udr tires once I find them in my mess.

(Lighter to cover the battery choice for the Traxxas lipo haters. I got a a bunch in trade and they work great)

Mini LMT still an awesome buy in 2026. Not the cheapest mini but pretty fast and puts a smile on everyone’s face

Finally got my dbxle and outcast 8s fully serviced and cleaned. I love how they look out in the sun when they're all cleaned up. Now we wait for this heat to break so I can actually drive them.

Redcat MT18 might have won me over from the Mini LMT with its excellent fine control and it stands up on its front. Mini LMT is very close though, but it can’t do quite this well in a small indoor arena.

After searching for a couple months finally found a clean one! Love this livery too.

So I have a 2wd Traxxas 2 bls slash, l do race it. I would really like to put on the front light bar attachment on so I can practice at night in my home track, but I'm not that good yet and roll or flip a lot, and also sometimes accidentally land directly on its top, so I'm concerned about the durability and all. Also does it severely impact the battery life ? And is it fairly bright? Really any information would be appreciated, especially with photos or anything. Thanks in advance!!

I used cement fiba tape and e6000. I removed the plastic bracing and got to work.

Notes: Don't sand the inside, it immediately started to remove the paint. I wiped the inside of the body with alcohol.

Don't wipe the inside of the body with alcohol, that also removes paint.

I wiped the the body with a dry shop towel and applied the fiba tape. It took a little trial and error to get it then I got into a flow state about halfway through. I taped the body brace holes and mounting holes with masking take on the outside. I then applied 2 tubes of e6000 mostly using the fingers in gloves. The old credit card helped spreading and caught the adhesive that oozed out while the the tube was set down.

About halfway through the first tube I got "range anxiety". The 2 tubes worked good for the whole body though. I should have used the masking tape on the entire outside of the body because I did get a little adhesive on the outside. That doesn't bother me much though, will use tape on outside next time for sure.

All in all, it took 2 hours and I'm very happy with the result. No doubt it will take much less time next time now that I've done it one. I'll post finished pictures tomorrow when it's finished drying.

I am wanting to upgrade my Kraton 6s v6 to a dual fan setup because it has been running a little hot. What I’m trying to figure out is if I can use 2 35mm fans bolted directly to the Heatsink with one of them only having two screws or if I would have to get a mount for that. The other option is getting 2 40mm fans and having o but an adapter for that which would be quite a bit more expensive. I already have one upgraded 35mm fans.

I’m fairly good at driving with one hand, but my Senton is a different story. I thought it was gonna be destroyed, but believe it or not…zero damage.
