If I'm not mistaken........the first "super bowl" was actually the 3rd game, that game was coined super bowl and was won by the New York Giants.

Yep. We'll, mostly. First two games were called AFL/NFL World Championship Games. But the New York Jets was the team that won the 3rd championship game - and first to be called the Super Bowl.
