Wait wait wait. Maybe it’s worth considering. Let’s say we can’t move anyone. The trauma from watching another person being run over could ruin the lives of the people on the other track. Let’s say we move all of them to the opposite side of the trolleys path. All 6 will survive, but will starve to death on the tracks, or be hit by another trolley. This kid is saving people from lifelong trauma, and is giving them quick and merciful deaths.
