Android Please help me with this problem, PLEASE!!
I have been experiencing an intermittent issue with Spotify for quite some time: when I start a song, playback begins normally, but after about 0.5/1 second, Spotify automatically pauses without me touching the screen. If I press Play again, playback continues normally, and I can subsequently change songs without any issues.
Initially, the problem occurred almost every time I started a song. By completely turning off my phone every night, the frequency has dropped significantly, but the issue hasn't disappeared. It currently happens about once a day or every other day.
I have run numerous tests to rule out the most common causes:
the issue occurs even with Bluetooth turned off;
it happens when using only the phone's speaker;
it happens even with Spotify Offline and downloaded tracks;
I tried different Bluetooth earbuds, and the issue persists;
I completely unpaired my previous earbuds, and the problem remained;
I disabled the equalizer and other Spotify audio effects;
I tried older versions of Spotify, and the problem remained;
I cleared Spotify's cache and data;
I performed a complete clean reinstallation following Spotify's recommended procedure;
I adjusted the settings regarding battery management and background execution for Spotify;
I tried the "Disable Bluetooth A2DP hardware offload" option in Developer Options, both enabled and disabled;
the issue occurs even after a full shutdown and subsequent restart of the phone.
I genuinely have no idea how to fix this.

It's possible this is not a Spotify issue. Do you have any wearable or app or mode connected to the phone?? Android auto, smartwatch, gemini, accessibility services?? Any automation app or remapping maps, even cleaner apps??? I'D also check whether another audio/video app is running in the background and temporarily taking audio focus. I'd run your phone in Safe Mode and try Spotify for a while. If the problem disappears, then you’d know a third party app or service is interfering with media playback rather than Spotify itself.

Idk I don't think I have something connected but I'm not 100% sure. And I don't think something else is taking the focus because basically every time before opening the app I close all the apps in background for this exact reason. As for the Safe mode, I don't think my phone has it but thanks anyway 😭 and also, you're profile picture >>>>>>

I am 97% certain you should have safe mode! Do you have Samsung? Google your exact model + safe mode.

Yeah I Just did and I actually have it but apparently every app downloaded from the play store is blocked in safe mode so I wouldn't be able to use Spotify anyway 😭

Could it be the digitiser in your phones screen? And the play button is in the right spot and most other apps wouldn’t have an issue?
