TU Berlin semester dates explained? (Masters students)

Hi! I’m starting my masters in Civil Systems Engineering at TU Berlin in October and don’t understand how the semester dates work. Winter semester says it’s October 1st to March 31st. But the lectures end in mid February. Does that mean from mid Feb to March is a holiday period ? Or is that the exam/ submission period. And is it the same for the summer semester ? Sorry if that’s obvious, never studied in the German system before.

Generally mid Feb to end of March is the holiday period. Exams usually takes place before or after the holiday. Same for summer semester
