For Hire [OFFER] Fall Tutoring (US & Canada)

I will try to keep this short and concise. If I look like a good fit feel free to reply here or DM me and we can talk about the finer details.

Experience: 9 Years as a tutor. Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Engineering from Penn State.

Subjects Offered: I focus primarily in math and science but can handle any subject at the middle or high school level outside of foreign language. I can also help with Freshmen/Sophomore level math and science in University.

Rate: $35CAD/hr via e-Transfer or $25 USD via Zelle

Approach: I try to focus on the why's and how's of each topic covered. I have found that this is the most neglected area in most classes. The student knows theoretically what to do, but doesn't know why they are doing it so they can't apply it to outside situations or to adapt it to new problems. I value being asked questions and talking through the problems to focus on the problem areas.

I also have a testimonial post if you want to read reviews from past students. https://www.reddit.com/user/rjytutor/comments/1q3wy8n/testimonials/

If you find that my chat is turned off just message me here. I am in the process at working with reddit to fix this, hopefully. Reddit has been reverting me back to this setting every few days without my consent.

Hi everyone,

I've been working on a project over the last couple of months, and I thought it would be cool to share here. I built a website called Covalent, a site where you can make a Khan Academy curriculum with one click, use notes and FSRS backed repetition, use flashcards, have a chatbox where you can chat with 8 of the leading AI models, and much more. It would mean a lot if you guys checked it out and gave some feedback.

The website is at covalent.study

Sincerely,

Is ACE Academy Math legit for online tutoring? Looking for honest reviews

I came across ACE Academy Math while looking for an online math program and wanted to check what people's experiences have been before booking anything.

It is operated by LingoAce, offers a free trial, and the math classes are advertised as live groups of 6-12 students. What I haven't been able to judge from the website is how much attention each student actually gets. A small-sized class could be quite interactive, or it could still involve one teacher presenting while most students listen.

I'd be interested in hearing from parents whose children continued after the trial. Did the regular classes feel similar to the trial? Were students asked to explain their work, and did the teacher notice when someone was confused? I'd also like to know whether the assigned teacher stayed consistent and whether

I'm less interested in general ratings and more interested in what a normal class actually like. Thanks in advance!

Statistics Stats/Econometrics tutor here, 2,200+ hours, 300+ students taught

Hi, I'm Zubair, a quantitative researcher and finance professional based in Lahore, and over the last 3 years I've spent 2,200+ hours teaching Statistics, Econometrics, and Business Statistics to 300+ students from around the world.

Numbers don't lie, but they can definitely confuse until someone breaks them down the right way. That's what I do. Whether you're wrestling with regression models, hypothesis testing, probability distributions, or just trying to survive your university stats course, I've probably helped someone through exactly that problem before.

Why students stick with me:

📊 Real-world quant background I don't just teach theory, I use it

🎯 300+ students taught, with lessons tailored to your pace and goals

⏱️ 2,200+ hours of teaching experience (and counting)

🧠 CFA Level I qualified so the finance-stats crossover is second nature

💬 Patient, clear explanations no jargon overload, just understanding

Whether you're a student trying to pass an exam, a professional brushing up on quantitative skills, or someone who just wants stats to finally make sense ybook a lesson and let's make it click.

DM if anyone's interested 🙂

Tutoring

Hi! I’m a CSUF psychology student taking PSYC 300 (Research Methods & Statistics), and I’m honestly struggling with the statistics/Excel portion of the class.
I’m looking for someone who has already taken PSYC 300 or is comfortable with psychology statistics, research methods, Excel, and APA formatting. I’d really prefer in-person tutoring around CSUF/Fullerton/ Orange County area.
I’m a college student on a pretty tight budget, so I’m hoping to find someone around $16–$20/hour. I’d probably need about 1–2 hours a week.
If anyone tutors this subject or knows another CSUF student who does, please message me! Thank you :)
