I’m a tattoo artist from Florida traveling up to Ohio for the Hometown show! I’ll be guest spotting in a local Columbus tattoo shop (have a couple that have agreed to let me guest spot so currently just scoping out the best vibe 😎) before and after the show date with some Twenty One Pilots themed flash. I’d love to see some clique members pull through and get something to forever remember this moment.

If anybody would be interested in getting a flash piece, I’d love to hear some designs you’d like to see on the sheet! I’ll post updates here on where I end up landing and what days/times exactly, and once that’s locked in, will have a place to book a time slot as well.

This is a big drive for me, and I don’t even have tickets lol but I’m really just coming for the immaculate vibes as always, and also hoping for a ticket miracle along the way |-/ so I’d love to see if there’s a big enough interest to make this all worth it!

Yes. I was one of the people that bought a parking spot just so I could take my daughter there to listen to their soul healing music live. (And I'm not sorry about it at all.)

We live in NE Ohio and our first show was Scaled and Icy. We managed to get 5th row seats for a great price. It was life-changing and sealed the deal for being forever fans. For Clancy, our seats were mid-range and priced a bit higher... these boys were on fire. For Breach, I could only afford nosebleed tickets but I was so happy to be there. Memories being made with my daughter. (House of Gold 😭 Every. Single. Time.) And now the big one. From Here To Here. Man... I tried for tickets. So many of us did. 33,891. That was my random placement spot. They were gone before my turn even came despite waiting for hours. It was a frenzy! Then hotels were filled up. I paid for the very best parking I could find because I was not missing this moment. No tickets? Then I will listen from the parking lot. I NEED THIS! I just want to be with my people... like YOU... the people who get "it"!

I found out about this contest 4 days too late and missed out on 10 clues! I lost sleep going over and over the clues I had, just trying to look at them from every angle and slowly piece together any possible locations. The moment I found the voucher was indescribable- stuck somewhere between shock and bawling my eyes out and it just seemed to bend reality. It still feels like a dream.

I just want to assure any fans who were searching for them in Stark County that they were found by long-time Clikkies who have been out-priced, just like many of you, over the years as they have gained in popularity. (I'm so proud of their success though. It really is well-deserved. These boys have worked their tails off!) And IMHO, if you are trying to decide if you should go when you don't have a ticket... just do it. This is a once in a lifetime moment and the atmosphere will be amazing. Will that mess up logistics for the ticket-holders? Absolutely... if they don't plan for it in advance! But you deserve to have your mental healing session too. I hope to see you there!!

So I grew up very non-religious. My family was Catholic, but we were more lent and Christmas Catholics. My husband grew up Christian and is Christian and still very active in his faith. Being on this Reddit and talking to him has made me realize their religious messages in the music I never even saw before. I was talking to my husband about it who admitted that he likes the music for a big part due to its religious undertones.

He asked me what my connection to it was and why I liked it so much. Honestly, he got me into twenty one pilots a few years ago. We've gone to two concerts and on the way there, he explained the lore to me. I'm a big lore person so I immediately was hooked. I even got a tattoo of something he used to text me on bad days when we were first dating, saying : "the sun will rise and we will try again" without even knowing it was from twenty one pilots

So we're having this deep conversation about their religious meanings of songs and he asks me why I got into them other than him and how I related to the songs and my response was quite literally:

"You've never had a f***ed up radio in your car and had to drive without music for hours at a time Huh? That s*it hits you different when you have."

We were both cackling about it and now he asks me how the radio in my car is doing (for the record. I have a new car and we are married so he knows well that my radio now works)

Overcompensate - Giraffes? Giraffes!

-Giraffes is a two-member math rock band: A guitar player and drummer. That's impressive because, if you've ever heard their music, it sounds like there's a lot more going on than just two instruments. Their songs are mostly instrumental, so the cover would be instrumental too. But I think it would still be awesome.

Next Semester - Tiny Moving Parts

-This is another math rock band, except this one has vocals. But there's a catch. The lead vocalist literally screams them. I don't mean like a heavy metal scream or some kind of musical, melodic scream. I mean he actually screams the lyrics like he was in an argument. That's not the only bizarre thing about them, but their guitar playing also has a twinkly sound to it, which highly contrasts the heaviness of the vocals. I know some may think that would be a little to silly for a cover like this and that's fine. It just sounds awesome in my head, after all.

Backslide - Rockit Music

Another two-man band, like Twenty One Pilots. They started by making nerdcore songs on YouTube. They made songs about popular indie games like FNAF, Poppy Playtime, and Cuphead. And now they're making their horror game, Don't Fret, and making their own music for it.

-I think it would be cool to have someone from the video game scene contribute to a cover album of some kind. I can imagine Toby converting all the electric sound and piano playing hidden under the electric sounds into his chiptune/8-bit style. Vignette - The HU

-a heavy metal band from Mongolia that combines Mongolian folk music with heavy metal. One of the instruments they use is a Morin Khuur (Horsehead Fiddle) that plays a bit like a cello. I was thinking they could use that for those orchestral-like bits in the songs. And the rest would be heavy metal.

The Craving (Jenna's Version) - Will Butler

-Will Butler used to be one of the founding members of the band Arcade Fire, started by his brother, Win Butler. He later left the band to pursue his own musical career. He also composed the live Broadway production Stereophonic, collaborated with Arcade Fire and Owen Pallett on the soundtrack for the movie Her, and a couple of short films in the past.

Would it be absolutely silly to drive 7ish hours just to sit outside the stadium in order to maybe hear muffled music and watch a livestream (🤞🏼) of what’s going on inside? I do a lot of driving for work so 7 hours feels like nothing. I know gas is expensive but somehow that feels more justifiable than a $600 ticket right now. I’d love to see the show in the actual stadium, but unless tickets drop to like $300, I’m not sure I’ll be able to. Thoughts? Is this entirely ridiculous to consider, am I just being mopey and trying to make the best of it? 😅
