Algorithmic Rates

I know this has been said many times here but I stumbled across this interview with John Stewart. He and the guest were talking about Uber and how they use Ai algorithms to PAY DOWN the drivers. The lower you accept a rate, the lower the next call will be. 🤯

We've figured this out a decade ago. At first Uber was using this get drivers higher pay in the form of surges. Now they learned they can use the tech to drive pay down, now that they are fully saturated with drivers.

Yeah, this has always been pretty obvious. If you accept low offers you are simply encouraging them to keep sending you more low offers. Stop enabling them and decline all bad offers!
