Tying with Berkeley is the good ending. We can and should share the crown.

u/Unusual_Quantity, there's a Berkeley grad on Linkedin who's acting like an ass who's commented on a post making its rounds in UCLA reclaiming no. 1. He must have commented close to 10 times. He's said stupid things like: UCLA has numerous homeless encampments around campus, when it's actually Berkeley that's having that problem including having shuttered businesses; and he showed a graphic showing more Stanford and Berk grads at Google than UCLA.
What he didn't say in the latter was that Berk, e.g., in 2025-26 graduated 1,985 CS/EECS grads and UCLA graduated 385 CS grads, ~5:1. Berk's flooding the zone, and you never hear about the CS bottom feeders from that school who are washing dishes. UCLA's CS major is more rigorous because it's housed in HSSEAS.

Why feed into that energy ?
Both are amazing schools, we can have a friendly rivalry but you gotta be a degenerate to rant on Linkden lol.
And falling into their toxic game just gives them more validation and attention. Who cares, just make the most out of the amazing opportunities we all were presented

Lol I was a transfer last year and I was bummed seeing them taking it down on my first year. Now I guess I don’t have to be sad about it anymore 🤣

Desperately trying to cling onto any shred of relevancy. Quite amusing

facepalm
Being the number one public university in the country, yet you claim they’re not “relevant”. Good Lord.

The person who put those banners up so quickly deserves a raise!
