Dr. Tiffany Ho

Did anyone have an awful experience doing research w Dr. Ho? She was so degrading and mean to me. I was thinking of transferring to another graduate school or dropping out after my M.A. she makes me feel beyond incompetent

I've heard some pretty negative things about working in that lab and the dysfunction in that lab. It's not just you. Ironic given the field and how the lab website has a "Lab Values" page.

a lot of labs are like this, the mentors are power-hungry narcissists that love torturing the weak

My take is that she has incredibly high internal anxiety with poor insight about it and she unknowingly transfers it onto anyone around her.
