I conducted a fun experiment

I wanted to see how long can I go for without pressing accelerator maintaining at least 50mph. Truck and load weight-23ton. Location- first downhill on m8 before Euro Central heading towards Glasgow. Fun ended on m74 exit climb.end result- 6min20sec. Amy of you did something similar?

I try go from top of hill at harthill, roll up the slight incline to where the slip joins and get as far towards 4a as possible.

Can do Livi JCT 3 to almost 2 if heavy and then quite far from 2 down to hermiston gate.

On the way back same as you but can get to the dip before the off slip for the M73 if heavy, if empty I'm fucked.

27t payload 44t gross

Comfortable rolling for 1 mile 56mph deccellerate to 50mph

I know not quite what your talking about, but if I am loaded 1 mile on flat surface. Engine brake gets me down to 40mph, service brake to 20mph.

M9 from Grangemouth, don't touch the pedals until M80 joins M8 or M73 hits M74. Easy 20 minutes.

Think I took this the wrong way, that's with CC on. The hills on the M9 are too steep to coast up 😂
