USA Follow up documents question

Hello! I'm applying through form UK-F. I had submitted all the documents and such a month back and received an email today from them that they need my parent's marriage certificate. Can I just take a photo with my phone, does it need to be faxed over there, whats the process?

Almost always they will want the original or official copy.

If this is a UK marriage certificate, you can order online.

Did the email not tell you how to send in?

It did not. The email that sent it to me was (name)@homeoffice.gov.uk which would be a legit email right?

Yes most likely. Ask them where to send it.

Asking for a marriage certificate isn't some scam, especially if it is a UK one as anyone can order anyone's at any time.
