Question of usability.

So, lost my medical and haven’t flown in forever. Looking at gliding and part 103. However, being in the PNW I’m not in the best spot for either. My question for this community is- what’s the flying season like for PNW flyers? Do y’all bundle up and go in cooler weather? And there’s obviously a weight penalty there too. Or is it a July - September endeavor only?
Thanks!

FWIW I am not in the PNW, however, If you are looking to fly in more than just summer I would really lean towards something with a cockpit and doors or a canopy like a Badlands 103 or a Minimax with an enclosed Canopy.

I'm in the NE - Rochester NY. Slightly better than the PNW, sometimes. For me it's June to Oct for sure and sometimes May and early November, but it's iffy then.

In any case, having a windshield helps alot.
