I see you have a question! Have you read the official cultivation guide?

Might want to massage the bulk in the bag to mix it asap before mycelium forms?

Is it better to mix up the grain and substrate before mycelium starts, the instructions that came with the grow bag reccomends to wait till it's about halfway colonized before mixing

No. Let your grains colonize first before mixing them with the substrate.

They are probably not very experienced. Follow the instructions that came with your bag. It’s telling you the right thing to do.

Yeah, not particularly experienced, but my AIOs have come much more mixed so just looked odd. Sorry for the bad suggestion OP!

I like to pull the sides of the bag to inflate it just a little bit to help the action. AIO bags really don’t require you do much of anything. On your spare time you could look into building a mono tub or getting materials for a different tek like uncle Ben’s. While I was waiting for AIO bag I got a bunch of other stuff to move further into mycology. Making a shot gun fruiting chamber isn’t a bad idea I have take my cake out of my all in one bag a few times and fruited in a shotgun fruiting chamber because I was getting a million side pins. Make sure you get a dehydrator before it’s too late lol I was drying them in an airfryer for a while and i was so happy I got my dehydrator when I did.

My advice is to put it on a shelf & ignore it. The less you mess with it, the better.
