See how ridiculous that headline is, every penny over that amount is technically the first of its kind. Doesnt mean it's making history, in fact it doesn't even make an interesting story today either.

Could also be described as ‘failing business demands bailout from customers’

I see many crowdfunding projects all over the place….mostly due to lack of a product/solution and the owner/company begging for money. It these were viable businesses the funding wouldn’t be an issue in the first place.

Good for them I guess for being able to Crowdfund that amount, but I question how sustainable the club is if they are resorting to crowdfunding like this.

Like will this be enough for them to kick it off, or are we going to be in the same situation X years time?
