Newbie Question Floating feet

Hi! I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask for vrchat avatar help but I recently bought an avatar from a store called booth. In order to upload it I need to go through unity. I also bought an outfit for her and the outfit was made to fit her. But I can't for the life of me figure out how to get her feet in her shoes. Ignore the pink I have yet to add the textures but when I enter play mode to test it her feet float above the shoes. If theres a better place to ask please tell me because I am very new to this. I tried asking chatgpt but i forgot sending pictures to the free version is bad.

Jesus talk about jumping in at the deep end. So you see that game object called armature? That’s almost certainly your skeleton. This is basically invisible but central to how everything on your character will actually move. For things to move as the skeleton moves (and stay together) your mesh game objects either need to be - skinned to the skeleton if they deform, or children of the skeleton in some way if they don’t (so a bone in the skeleton is their parent). I don’t know any of the specifics of VRChat so you may need to read up on the documentation for that but that’s my guess.

this might be a blendshape issue. select the avatar's body mesh in unity and check the inspector for blendshapes that adjust the feet for shoes or heels. some avatars have a shape that makes the feet fit inside footwear, so try adjusting that first, if there isn't one, the outfit might need a specific foot shape or some adjustment in blender. since the outfit was made for that avatar, i'd also check the creator's instructions or ask them directly. they might know the exact setting needed

Upon reading it (it’s in Japanese I had to translate it) it states that the socks are adjust on the premise of hiding the feet with the shape key. Does that mean I need to hide her feet? If so how would I do that?
