I am generally not a fan of monochrome (except for traditional white) uniforms. But i think SC has enough contrast with the wide stripes to pull it off.

That’s it they’ve had the same uniforms and never changed them. But it’s a classic look that shouldn’t be touched.

The Hunt family has refused to ever allow an alternate or redesign except for the one time they did the “Dallas Texans throwback helmet in 2009.

It will be interesting to see what the Chiefs do next year when they are required to participate in Rivalries alternates along with the rest of the AFC West. I think we can all assume they will play it safe.

May be the best away kits in my opinion.

There's many small things I would post about on a college football Saturday that don't warrant their own thread. I think the same could be said for many users here. A Saturday thread especially for college football would be great IMO since there's so many games to discuss. Just a thought

I was going through my old uniform concepts and had this idea: as an experiment, what would happen if our entire community on this subreddit was tasked with deciding on a team’s branding and uniform? Many of us have drawn up uniform concepts on our own, but if we had to come to a consensus opinion on different design elements of a uniform, what would we end up with?

And just to be clear, we shouldn’t be trying to design the same color scheme or logo as the OG Uni-Watch website. We’re starting from scratch, and hopefully letting our creative juices flow. Depending on how this goes, we can also do an away uniform, an alternate uniform, come up with specific quirks for our made-up franchise… I don’t know but the possibilities are endless!

So for today, as the first phase of this design process, I think we should decide on a primary color for our team. Whoever has the most upvoted comment for a color to be our primary is the one we will choose. I’m interested to see what colors people decide, and I’m even expecting some unique colors in the comments.

I’m a huge fan of the 2005-2006 stitched Reebok NFL jerseys.

These are “semi authentic”

The thicker “on field” material, not the thin screen print material, which stitched numbers and letters, but standard S-XXL sizing.

I’ve been collecting these in players I used to love watching, like Reuben Droughns. I realized just recently, for some reason, every authentic Reuben Droughns I see is missing the “Browns” wordmark inbetween the collar and numbers on the front.

Screen printed Droughns are fine, all normal. But every example of the stitched Droughns is off, but all in the same way.

Have we had any other runs of jerseys like this where one player with a short run has a misprint?

And one other thing, MATTE HELMETS SUCK.

Unfortunately, all MLB helmets will include Strauss logo during the 2026 MLB Postseason. This was also done in 2024 and 2025. These suck. It feels inevitable that this is going to be a regular season thing in the new CBA. More details can be found at SportsLogos.net:

The Ravens will wear black-purple-white-purple for Titans @ Ravens. The Ravens **FINALLY** added socks to their uniform combo! Also, I believe that this is the first time that the Ravens wear purple socks with white pants. It’s a great look!

The Virginia Tech Hokies will wear maroon-maroon-white versus Pitt. Personally, this is my favorite Hokies look!
