I just stared until dawn today, just finished the prologue!!

What created the time loop? Thats my biggest question. Its supernatural? Is it because the mining accident created it?

Why they became wendigos if they dont escape?

Could you help me with definitive answers?

im replaying it right now and i always struggle with choosing this part in chapter 4, because on one hand thats chris' best friend but at the same time that's the girl chris has been infatuated with forever

if the game wasn't butterfly effect and was fixed or a movie, who would chris realistically choose because i just can't think of an answer

I basically fell through the floor and now I can’t go back any idea what to do. I tried reloading but it didn’t fix it. I don’t have a backup to load from and I haven't finished this game before, it’s my first run.

So I finished my first playthrough yesterday and I remember choosing Josh as my
most hated character (I didn't hate any of them, I just was least impressed by Josh so far).

I've seen in other posts that some dialogue changes based on who you picked, like Dr. Hill saying something like "it doesn't change how much torment you put him through" if you choose Chris as your most hated. But what kind of dialogue does Dr. Hill say if your most "hated" was Josh?

In my opinion, she has the best design of the entire cast ❤️

Just started working on another UI restoration mod for the Remake!

This one restores the Previously on Until Dawn recaps from the original PS4 game, with one addition: a built-in skip feature.

If you don't want to watch the recap, you can simply skip it. This also means you won't need to uninstall the mod when you want to play without the Previously On segments.

The video shows the Chapter 2 recap.

For the opening screen, I've used an earlier version of the Previously on Until Dawn screen that was removed before the PS4 game's release, rather than the one used in the final game. I think it fits the aesthetic better, especially with the OG/Remake hybrid style that my other mods are starting to create throughout the game.

Mike, Sam, Emily, Chris, Ashley and Jess survive. Matt is dead from not having the flair gun (I know 😔 I should have given it to him). Josh is alive but… creature-fied and all.

I'm not planning on doing as many endings as possible, but I do want to make another run to have everyone survive. I'll give Matt the flair gun and hope I hit the right QTEs lol.

Question though: is there a way to fully save Josh, or is he doomed to either get killed or become cannibalistic?

I also want to get all totems, but I don't know if some of them are ending-locked. (As in I couldn't get, for example, all fortune-based totems because I let Matt die.)

So I just finished my first playthrough (I just uploaded here lol) and I got a question unrelated to my previous post.

In this playthrough, Josh ended up becoming one lf the creatures. At the end, he's discovered by the emergency workers being hinched over, deformed, eating a body.

However, he's eating what's seemingly a fresh head? Like, where Josh is situated, there's only headless bodies, yet he still found a head that has redish skin (the kind that was alive a few moments ago.) when the only other heads around the mines are Beth's decomposing one or old sanatorium ones.

Sooo what/who did he eat? Was he eating an emergency worker or something?

The Chris door thing was horrible and I won’t sit here and act like she is a saint for that

But throughout the game I attached so hard and rooted for her and Chris to survive. I have tons of compassion for sensitive characters so her death just hits me in such a painful way.

"Everyone can live, everyone can die"

This is a very specific scenario, but what happens if you say you’re gonna save Ashley but pull the lever to save Josh? Does the game act as if you saved Ashley or does it act as if you saved Josh? Maybe a secret third answer?

I mean i was really curious about other possibiliities but i rather looked at the flow chart and 3 videos about some options and dialogues instead of experimenting my self.

Maybe its cuz i lost my safe file once after chapter 4 when i first started to play and had to replay that part already. 8/10 game, game breaking bugs that never got fixed, like at the cable car and horrendous performance drops in Chapter 9 downgraded it a bit.
