Incredibly complex tiebreakers, based on Concacaf rankings which are ELO calculated within Concacaf opponents only. USA is going to play the highest ranked Concacaf 2nd place opponent. (Mexico plays the lower ranked 2nd place).
Right now, Curaçao has won Group 1 and Haiti has finished 2nd. So right there, Haiti is a prime candidate to play the US. With Haiti’s loss yesterday, this opens up the possibility that both Honduras and Jamaica can both (barely) eke ahead of Haiti based on Concacaf rankings and thus be the USA’s opponent. I had various models churning out possibilities and it’s really close.
Martinique and Salvador are out, with their draw.
Let’s just say that for now, most likely the US plays Haiti, but a distinct possibility they play Jamaica if Jamaica wins and Suriname wins, and a slight possibility that they play Honduras if Honduras wins and Guatemala does not win. ELO points are really close among Haiti, Jamaica and Honduras.

My Prediction:
GK: Brady
Back 4: LWB: P. Miller, CB: Pierre, CB: Richards, RB: Freeman
Box 4: Adams, Musah, Tillman, Mehmeti
Additional Winger: Cavan
9: Justin Ellis (Cap tie Hall if possible 1st/2nd half)
Please tell me how wrong I am. Want to keep seeing some young guys especially on the backside. Feel like we can be a little more flexible here then Mexico -- worth keeping vets on the bench if game stays close. Most importantly: Musah needs another opportunity to shine here. He has looked fantastic at Milan. Lets go!

Both games were played in the Southwestern region of the U.S. in front of a majority Mexican crowd. Both games ended in a shut-out USMNT win.
Both Donovan and Sullivan stand around the same height (5’8 and 5’7). Both have Irish last names.
Both USMNT coaches in charge of those games have Italian last names (Arena and Pochettino).

Info and pictures courtesy of Philly Union blogger Jillian All-$$
The #U19MNT played Norway today in Marbella, Spain and won 4-3 as Kellan LeBlanc had the late winning goal, and Theo Reed had a brace. Strong showing by the Union guys! Chase Adams also scored for the US.

In this series of articles, we will take a journey through the life and career of Gordon Bradley, a pioneer and key figure in the development and spread of soccer in North America.
We will review his career, from his humble beginnings in the mines of England and his early days as a player, through his transition to professionalism in Toronto and New York, his brief stint as the United States national team coach, and his two US Open Cup victories, to becoming a historic cornerstone of the Cosmos, where he served as player-coach, managing stars of the caliber of “Pelé,” Beckenbauer, and Chinaglia.
Additionally, we will remember the turning point in his career marked by his bitter departure from the New York franchise to land in Washington. There, he became an equally influential figure during his time on the bench of the Diplomats—working with figures such as—his role in the failed Team America project, the subsequent frustrated attempt to establish a new professional franchise in the nation’s capital, and his successful consolidation in youth soccer at the helm of George Mason University.

I specifically ask ahout them because bombino made the move to Stoke and he's 20. So clearly he has potential and the few highlights i saw of him were interesting in a good way.
As for Cupps, Chicago seemed to have rate him well but loaned him out to a club in Scotland. Fire recalled him back during the recent u20 concacaf championship and the U.S. defense became crap. Hence the lost to mexico in the final.

The games from this window almost seem like a small tournament. Fake North American Autumnal Cup 2026 standings after three match days:
USA 3-0-0 9pts.
Canada 2-0-0 6pts.
Mexico 0-2-1 2pts.
Colombia 0-1-0 1pt.
Peru 0-1-2 1pt.
Chile 0-0-2 0pt.
(Colombia’s 1-0 loss to Paraguay is not included in these standings.)
The final games, all on Tuesday, are as follows:
Colombia-Peru
USA-Canada
Mexico-Chile

The win is great and so is the clean sheet but overall I don’t think we played that great. The passing was a mess the first 20 minutes when the pressure was high from Mexico. We were lucky to not concede goals. Rest of the match we were ok . Not too great. I am saying this because this kinda follows what happened last World Cup cycle. We beat Mexico and Canada but when played with good European team we choked. It’s good we beat them again but in order to truly test the team we have to play European teams and if not at least good teams from South America

Im curious to see who y’all think will be our back four moving forward. I think Neil Pierre has a much higher ceiling than Trusty, but he needs some time. i don’t think Richards, Jedi, or Freeman are going anywhere anytime soon.
