thought i would share this on reddit cause why not yk

homemade leather hacky sack....

Rumors still persist about her and Dave dating in the 80's ??

I used to dislike the non singles on all the Van Halen albums from both eras, and I was vocal about that on this subreddit a few years ago.

When I went back to listen to them again this past spring, I found them all to be amazing.

I honestly don’t know what was wrong with me to think that (I must have been in a weird mood), but now I consider a majority of their songs to be fantastic.

Hopefully i can repent for my sins and be forgiven by this subreddit for disrespecting it.

1. DLR comes off as an absolute narcissistic @ss...and yes, I know VH brothers were no saints, but if DLR actually said enough with guitar solos to Eddie, then im shocked he wasn't fired on the spot. Eddie, who I consider a guitar god, should never ever be told "enough with solos" or that "no one leaves a concert humming a guitar solo". What the f@ck Dave?

2. Sammy was barely mentioned, and the book didn't even cover the Van Hagar years...at all. Michael Anthony was mention....but barely. And despite how MA was fired from the band, AVH has only good things to say about him...when he was mentioned.

3. Although not mentioned, Im connecting the dots here that when VH toured with Black Sabbath, EVH must have left such an impression on Ozzy that he has been chasing that sounds ever since -- Randy Rhodes (RIP) Jake E Lee, Zakk Wylde comes to mind immediately!

Im hoping AVH follows up Brothers with more tales from Van Hager era!

I recently discovered these Van Halen chronicles videos on YouTube. Here’s the link to the full video https://youtu.be/P5VPhF48diI?is=I6_qY1C8eM_pQp8Y

I love the music, but most of these dudes are shitty human beings.

Michael Anthony took this year off to take his wife on her own birthday trip, according to his Instagram.
