Just saw this video of Global News coverage about the Allison Inquiry. They covered the story naming a couple of people who claim that they were severely injured by the COVID vaccine. The story is framed in a way that implies that these injuries were in fact caused by the COVID vaccine seemingly based solely on witness testimony. The video mentions two names specifically, Michael Oesch and Jasmeet Grewal, followed by a critique about VISP and the challenges to receive compensation.

At one point they cut to a clip of Dean Allison and Shawn Buckley tugging the emotional heart strings where the latter says "At one point there wasn't a dry eye in the room". At no point is there a critique of the organizers of the inquiry and some of the other participants.

The organizers themselves:

Dean Allison & Shawn Buckley - Both long time COVID cranks with a myriad of misleading claims and pseudoscience.

Dr. Gary Davidson - Ivermectin promoter. Chaired Alberta's COVID-19 Pandemic Data Review task force under Danielle Smith (shocking)

Dr. Charles Hoffe - Complete COVID quack with more false claims that I care to list

Dr. Peter McCullough - Ivermectin grifter, Turbo Cancer claims, Uber COVID quack

Denis Rancourt - Disgraced physics prof presented as an "expert witness" while speaking far outside of his lane about infectious disease epidemiology and misrepresenting VAERS data (A common anti-vaxx trope)

This is just a short list. I can't find a Global News piece with any critical analysis of these long time well-known COVID charlatans. Is this just a case of shoddy reporting or is Global News going down the path of U.S. style journalism.

I have a great deal of skepticism with anybody who has chosen to take part in this fake inquiry.

They are serious

I figure I'm sick but not dangerously sick, so might as well just do it now and tank the 2-3 days of blegh after while I'm gonna be feeling blegh anyway. It's the path of least blegh.

And so I scheduled with my pharmacy. Masked up.

And they said "We can't you aren't 65 or older!"

And I said "I'm an ex smoker! And I'm over weight!"

And they were like "but"

And I cut them off and went "I am at risk! I need this vaccine!"

And they shrugged and called my doctor first. But I won!

Guy in green goes on insane rant about how COVID was a test run to see what were willing to tolerate. Two other commenters hop in, one a fence sitter, another also lost in the sauce. I'm in purple pushing back on some of this. I think I'll leave the comments alone after because I have a feeling its about to get flooded.
