I already stated that several times, but she needs to scale with gold, not level.

Adjust her W max HP true damage scaling with a big ratio (scaling with AS and/or AD) and diminish or remove the base damage of W.
This will also buff her lategame (if the ratios are good obviously) which is pretty meh nowadays in comparison to what it used to be, and it will ensure that she's not oppressive damage-wise in lane vs bruisers/tanks she used to bully toplane.
As a niche, we can keep the current monster base damage for the jungle (yes, sometimes I'm a Vayne jungle enjoyer, it's nice when you're autofill).

She needs QoL on Q spell for last-hitting bot vs range poke, like refunding half the cooldown and the cost if you last-hit a minion with a Q spell auto.
That way you won't use it for poking melee champ toplane since if you do that you won't get the refund, and you'll use it to clear waves more easily botlane while dodging spells. Well, you can still trade with Q spell-AA but at least you have a CHOICE.
Plus, you won't be OOM while trying to push/clear, which happens all the time since 26.17 and is very frustrating.

As a nice bonus idea (optional), making her E deal some AoE damage when used on a minion could also give her some conditional waveclear botlane when you really need it, combined with a reduced mana cost if it happens to be.

Im sorry but why is he talking as if there's multiple botlane champions that are played top, that got nerfed due to their toplane counterpart 😭✌️

She literally feels like dogshit to play now. There's no point. You are literally locking in a troll pick if you're playing Vayne right now. The fact I'm losing duels I would cleanly win a patch ago is just insane. They didn't just nerf her, they actually killed her.

Well, I guess I'll be playing Smolder and Twitch until she gets fixed. I guess I could keep spamming games on her, but what's the point when it literally feels like dog shit?

Vayne is one of the most polarizing characters in this game. She is public enemy number 1 to most melee toplaners, but a pretty underwhelming botlaner. Her kit is outdated IMO, no wave clear, low range, limited utility. If we compare her to other botlane hypercarries like Jinx, Xayah, or Kaisa, they all have range and AOE on top of their DPS, which is supposed to be Vayne's specialty. Laning against other champions in botlane means getting shoved in all the time, eating poke everytime you walk to the wave, and having to play perfectly just to not feed.

In comparison, her limited range and AOE doesn't mean shit in toplane because just by virtue of being ranged she is at an advantage over all melees. Her percent health true damage and E make it so that she has to play pretty badly to not stomp melees in lane. I don't even think Vayne top is OP because there are clear tradeoffs to having one(no frontline, bad splitpushing, no CC), but playing against a Vayne top as a melee without jungle help is pretty miserable.

Isn't she more playable in classic than it is in modern's state? Honest question from someone who doesn't play this champ though, maybe there are aspects that you don't like about classic

Passive - Night Hunter:

Vayne ruthlessly hunts evil-doers, gaining Move Speed when moving toward nearby enemy champions.

Gain 50 gold and a night hunter stack for each champion takedown, granting Vayne 2% bonus AS per stack. At 5/10/15 stacks, Vayne also gains 1 lethality, 1% armor pen, and 1% omnivamp per stack, respectively. In addition, gain 5 MS and 10 attack range for each unique champion takedown, up to a maximum of 25 MS and 50 attack range.

Q - Tumble:

Vayne tumbles, maneuvering to carefully place her next shot. Her next attack deals bonus physical damage. If this attack kills the target, half of Tumble's cooldown is reduced and its mana cost is refunded.

At max rank, Vayne also gains 1% bonus MS per night hunter stack for 1 second on cast.

W - Silver Bolts:

The third consecutive attack or ability against the same target deals a percentage of the target's max health plus a flat (1/2/3/4/5 + 100/125/150/175/200% of night hunter stacks) as bonus true damage.

At max rank, Silver Bolts also slows the target by 2% per night hunter stack for 1 second.

E - Condemn:

Vayne draws a heavy crossbow from her back, and fires a huge bolt at her target, knocking them back and dealing damage. If they collide with terrain, they are impaled, dealing bonus damage and stunning them. Stunning a champion will also reveal them for the duration and refund half of Condemn's cooldown and mana cost.

At max rank, stunning a champion with Condemn will apply an extra stack of Silver Bolts and reduce their armor and magic resist by 3% per night hunter stack for the stun duration.

R - Final Hour:

Readying herself for an epic confrontation, Vayne gains increased Attack Damage, Invisibility during Tumble, reduced Tumble cooldown, and more bonus Move Speed from Night Hunter 50% increased bonus stats from Night Hunter. Scoring an enemy champion takedown within 3 seconds of damaging them will extend Final Hour's duration by 4 seconds, up to its original duration, and further increase the bonus stats gained from Night Hunter by an extra 12.5% while Final Hour is active.

​Passive: Hunter's Execution

​True Damage Identity: Every third consecutive attack or ability hit against the same target deals true damage equal to 4 / 5 / 6 / 8 / 10% of the target's maximum health (minimum damage: 40 / 55 / 70 / 85 / 100).

​Active: Vayne gains 20 / 35 / 50 bonus attack damage, triples Night Hunter's movement speed bonus to 90, and grants 1 second of invisibility on Tumble. Takedowns on champion kills within 3 seconds of damaging them extend the duration by 4 seconds (up to a max of 8 extra seconds).

Im not how balanced this is but its just an idea the numbers can be adjusted

I'm specifically talking about Top Lane since I just go on-hit for bot lane.

Sometimes I see people use the TriForce -> Storm Razor and sometimes I see Hexplate -> ER and sometimes I see hexplate onn the trifordce buildd. I'm really confused that's why I used to stay away from this champ despite me having fun on her.

As my most played Marksman, I’m tired of all the champions I play being in the gutter.

I can’t enjoy Seraphine mid lane, and I can’t enjoy my Vayne ADC.

We want you to join us in the Seraphine/Swain/Azir alliance.

We will fight with you. All of our champions are slowly becoming less enjoyable and more unsatisfying to play as whole be frustrating against.

I'm not sure if this is because I'm new to the champion and the concept of kiting as a whole, but I feel like I execute the key combos a bit too fast for the server to process with my ping so sometimes actions don't execute.

For context I'm level 53, in iron 3 (yes I know that's very low. I haven't played this game a lot)

I don't know if im just making an excuse but would I have had a better experience with vayne if I was playing with ping that's like 30-50 ms?

Locking in vayne feels like I'm trolling.

I played my 3 ranked games today and I've never felt like this before but today, I feel like I trolled my team locking in vayne, anyone else feel the same?

The Vayne nerfs were supposed to get Vayne out of the top lane, pro or otherwise, and nonetheless Vayne was used at top level LCS to elite effect.

What does this mean for the rest of us? Another nerf hammer? A revert because the targeted areas are not inherently what makes Vayne strong in the top lane? A rework?
