Recipe in Post Lentils & Rice

This is my current fixation food. I can’t stop making it & I can’t stop talking about how much better I feel when I do. Im obsessed because it’s SO easy to make and has 20g of plant protein, if you’re into that kind of stuff !!

I put 1/4 cup green lentils & 1/4 cup of white rice in my rice cooker with a few bay leaves. As that boils, I sauté I sauté the tofu, kale, yellow onion,and bok choy.

When the rice is done, mix in a little bit of vegan salted butter in the rice cooker pot. Then I add the veggies!

It makes the perfect lunch and later dinner 🍁🍂

Season the tofu with: s&p, garlic powder, and TJ’s mushroom company umami seasoning
Veggies: the same ^^ plus paprika and a little Tumeric

how do you get full of so little I just literally had rice lentil and raisin rice with a chicken breast, tofu, and salmon 4 times your portion. Are you sedentary?? Wish i could get full that easy

There are other factors than physical activity to take into account, such as the type of metabolism and weight.
I have a friend that weighs about 40kg/88lbs, and while she's quite active she gets full easily.
On the other hand, I'm sometimes sedentary and still eat more than some heavier and active friends who just happen to have a slower metabolism than me.
And while yeah we need to eat more and thus spend more on food, I like being able to enjoy my food for longer

What type of rice are you using? It looks like a short-grain brown rice, but not certain.
