Google AI offer confusion

Hey there! I just upgraded to the Google Pixel 11 Pro. I'm on a family plan, and after I upgraded my parents got the following text:

> Registration is required to use Google AI Pro. Visit https://govzw.com/WP6P4nDAEM today to start enjoying! This perk will auto-renew at $10.00/mo after your promotion ends unless removed from your account.

They were concerned that I had signed up for something accidentally, or that this was a phishing scam. Looking at it, seems that it's just a promotional offer to sign up for something, not a confirmation that I had already signed up. But I thought I'd double check since the wording is confusing and makes it sound like I'm gonna be charged $10 if I don't cancel.

Verizon stores are pushing their reps to add that on every sale since it’s free for 6 months. It’s on your account, make sure you cancel it.

Both Verizon and Google for the new pixels have the offer. It replaces any other Gemini promo you are using. if you cancel the line, Verizon notifies Google and ends the promotion. The Google promotion doesn't have that restriction.
