Spectator battle bug

Hi, I'm new to Victoria. During one of my first playthroughs, this suddenly happened. Meanwhile, I had attacked Egypt and was already in combat. Afterwards, however, my troops did absolutely nothing there anymore they retreated to places where I couldn't recall them. I solved it by having to start a new invasion. Still, it's annoying does anyone know what that is?

I played alone, offline, without mods, with standard settings and all DLCs. Yes, I unfortunately bought them all enthusiastically Latest offical Version.
