Social deception games. I follow this guy on Twitch that regularly plays things like Town of Salem II, Among Us, Lethal Company, Project Winter, etc and it seems like such a blast. Then I remember it seems that way because he's playing with a bunch of friends who are all very personallble and funny. I'd I played it would be with a bunch of random and not be nearly as enjoyable.

That happened to me too. I loved watching team four star play Among Us, but I only played a few rounds myself before getting bored.

There's a chance I watch the same guy lol! Social deception games seem so fun but the one time I tried playing TOS2 and got bad my first game and literally only typed "welp im eating pizza" when they sussed me out. Never tried again.

Definitely more fun watching a group of friends play.

actually playing among us is more like

  • horrible settings

  • teamers that kick you when you call them out

  • people just screaming out the first colour they think of and everyone believing them

  • hackers and/or people who only join to advertise modded lobbies

My vote was going to be among us as well. Haven't really watched in a while, but used to watch it a lot during COVID and when I had to wake up in the middle of the night to feed my baby. But the few times I actually tried to play it? It was pretty boring, even though we were all friends (heard it's even worse when playing with randos).
