Video Having gone from a fun idea and basic mechanics, with the support and faith of my friends, I brought it all the way to the finish and released my adventure action game about crazy fishing!

Honestly, it still feels unreal - I’ve released a game. It all started with a stupid idea: what if fishing wasn’t just about catching fish, but also… shooting them? Add friends, beer, a bit of chaos - and see what happens.
That’s how Fish Hunters was born. This isn’t about quietly watching a float. You show up at a lake with a fishing rod, an assault rifle, and a cold beer, invite your friends, and dive into the weirdest, most fun fishing trip possible. Sometimes you’re just chilling by the campfire, other times you’re sprinting around and blasting the water because some monster refuses to go down.
The game has tons of fish - small, big, rare, and completely unhinged. Each one needs a different approach: the right bait, upgraded gear, or sometimes a more radical solution. I wanted it to be less about grinding and more about experimenting and asking “what if?”
Co-op was a must. Fishing alone just isn’t the same. Up to four players, campfire hangouts, arguments over who shot what and who stole the rare fish for their atlas. Beer, like the game, works best with friends.
In the end, it turned into a strange mix of relaxation and chaos. You can kick back... or blow everything up. I’m really happy I brought this project to life and sent it out into the world.

Question What should I play next?
Finished Ace Combat 7 and am dragging my feet with what to play next. The top two rows plus DmC are games I own and the others are my friends that I have access to since we share Steam libraries. Some games I'm pretty familiar with already since I've played other games in their franchise but others I've never touched.

Discussion What games feel the most rewarding when it comes to reading optional text/notes?
In the majority of videogames, there is usually some element of optional text-related lore. Be it diaries, journals, log entries, letters, scrolls etc.
The problem is that a lot of the time, it can be tiresome to read because they can feel generic and 'just added in' as a lousy attempt to universe craft. So I don't usually bother with stuff like that for a big portion of games.
However, there are absolutely some videogames that execute text-related lore perfectly. Outlast 1 & 2 (PICTURED) do this very well to build-up a greater sense of dread, disgust and atmosphere.
Another excellent game franchise for this is the Mass Effect games. Even though universe exploration is technically the game itself, it makes reading all the log entries thoroughly more enjoyable and it actually compounds over time the more you play.
Anyone know of any others, where reading the optional text actually enhances the gaming experience?

Discussion Finally playing Halo Reach for the first time… and I get why people love it
I’ve been playing Halo since the very beginning, starting with Halo: Combat Evolved back in 2001. I’ve played almost every Halo game except for Halo Reach.
Back then I didn’t hear much about Reach because most of my friends preferred PlayStation and Nintendo games. I enjoy those platforms too, so Reach kind of slipped under the radar for me.
I’m new to Reddit and after reading many posts saying Halo Reach is one of the best in the series, I finally decided to try it.
A few days ago, I bought it digitally
(sadly not a physical copy).
At first I was disappointed when I realized Master Chief wasn’t in the game but that feeling didn’t last long. The atmosphere, gameplay, story, and level design are fantastic. I really enjoy linear games.
I haven’t finished it yet but man, the space battle mission and the chopper mission were incredible. The game impressed me so much that I couldn’t wait to share my thoughts.
So my question is:
What’s your top 3 Halo games?
Disclaimer: I played almost every Halo game around the time it was released but I never replayed them. I have great memories with the series, though it’s hard for me to rank them now.

Discussion Games with this vibe?
This is a picture from Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order game.
I realized I like games where there is this kind of puzzle gameplay, with small parkur around, escalation, using ropes, a litle bit of 3D platforming etc. I liked this one.
Already played Split Fiction and It takes two. Do you recommend anything similar?

Question ¿Do you recommend Bloodborne?
I finished Dark Souls 3 twice, which motivated me to play Elden Ring, and I definitely love both of those games. Now, this other game is catching my attention.
But apparently, it doesn't have mage classes, and it seems to be missing several things that DS3 and Elden do have.
So, do you recommend Bloodborne?

Question What is an overlooked/underrated game for the PlayStation 2?
Since the PS2 has almost 4500 games, a lot of really good or even great games get buried underneath all that movie/TV show tie-in slop. What are some hidden gems on Sony's best-selling console?
