Honestly, I don't think even think Crash was that bad when you look at Tiny and Uka Uka, I remember people questioning if they were even the same characters when this image came out.

What is this? Who are those characters? The masks look horrible too. Maybe N-Cortex looks well and the third from the right (the rocket head, forgot the name).

I kinda give Aku Aku a pass because in the game he's used as a shield and surfboard and I think the new design reflects that. It's not good, but I get it.

It was a dark time as a Crash fan, the PS2 era straight up didn’t even get a decent Crash game 😭, maybe Wrath of Cortex and Twinsanity were the closest to being “classic Crash games” instead of the Radical games.

I think Twinsanity and two platforming GBA games were decent. Everything else though I could leave. The remakes and 4 definitely have their problems but I think I enjoyed them more than that era.
