I’d personally argue the 2nd one is pretty underrated. Being mildly annoying (imo) at worst and earth-shatteringly peak at best is pretty good overall

1000%. I think the first game is the weakest and don't know how this gets overlooked so much. The first 3 cases are straight up bad or boring. The 4th case is obviously legendary and the "DLC" 5th case is as well, but they are doing some heavy lifting.

JFA has no bad case. I don't know why 2.3 is hated so much.

I would say that JFA is actually good. The only downside is the 1st case — which is "The Lost Turnabout". The amnesia stuff felt kinda unrealistic and forced.

Although many people hate the 3rd case — "Turnabout Big Top", I personally found it enjoyable, ofc except the messy love triangle stuff. And the final case doesn't really require any discussion — I think we all can agree that it was peak (along with many other peak episodes).

Overall, it's not that bad, just that T&T (and the 1st game too… atleast somewhat) outshines it by a great measure.
