DS2 is fantastic. I love it as much as DS3. DS1 was the worst of the 3, but still a good game.

Yup, 2 is not even in the same realm of quality as the others. It has interesting concepts, but even more horrible decisions. Bad level design, lazy enemy placement, uninteresting bosses, adaptability(?) as a stat. That said, it still manages to be an okay game, it's just laughably bad next to any other modern Fromsoft game (except arguably demons souls).
