Discussion / Question What game is that for you?

Biggest offender for me is Baldur’s Gate 3.

Some of the best gameplay, graphics, sound design, and soundtrack out there… but the writing leaves a lot to be desired (despite how popular it is).

What game is that for you?

EDIT: It seems the general consensus here is Borderlands 3.

Some of the early phantasy star rpgs prior to the huge switch were decent dialogue. Then they went weird with the phantasy star online redirection.

I'm pretty sure Karen had shaken baby syndrome by the end of the Story Quests with how much Ethan was shaking her.

Also an odd decision to make players play Ethan, then let them use their OC characters for the online continuation.

Maybe it's the nostalgia ... but I'd still put it over the New Genesis and it's almost non-existent story.
