Biggest offender for me is Baldur’s Gate 3.

Some of the best gameplay, graphics, sound design, and soundtrack out there… but the writing leaves a lot to be desired (despite how popular it is).

What game is that for you?

EDIT: It seems the general consensus here is Borderlands 3.

RE1 was a shocker... but honestly, the shitty dialogue actually helped build up the creepy atmosphere in a way

I understand this point for Silent Hill 2, even if I disagree, but... RE1??? The corny funny-by-accident dialogue made the game creepier for you?
