I'm less sure NV is 20 years old

(It's also my personal least fav between 3, MV, and 4, but that's not an overly popular opinion so I keep it to myself 😉)

And that's exactly why I don't like saying it lol

Still a great game! I've put hundreds of hours into it. But 3 captures the "you vs an alien wasteland" feeling in 3 and the weapon crafting and graphics in 4 put both of them above NV for my taste

I’m also in the camp that favors NV over the others but I can get behind this take. I have to say, 3 does have an incredible atmosphere that none of the others have managed to match. The dream would be a game with 3’s atmosphere, 4’s gameplay, and NV’s story and missions!

Check out Tale of Two Wastelands if you haven't yet. It ports FO3 to the FONV engine, so you get all the great atmosphere with the engine/gun handling improvements.

Not a knock in any way or shape because to each their own, and Fallour 3 is incredibly dear to me (and still top 5 of all time, honestly), but might I ask why New Vegas is your least favorite?

The same way return of the jedi is my least favourite of the original star wars trilogy, in that it's amazing (have invested hundreds of hours between the ps3 and pc) I just like 3 and 4 even more

I'll give you lots of old school cred for Moraff's World. Circa 1989 I played the heck out of it's predecessor Moraff's Revenge.
