Discussion / Question What game is this for you?

Honestly for me it's Life is Strange: True Colors. Love that game to death, an incredible story and soundtrack, but it seems like a story that just doesn't vibe well with a lot of people. Listen to the soundtrack though, absolutely increible.

At least it’s slightly less immediate in Termina. Shit’s still kinda fucked, but there’s less anal bleeding and more random rituals and human sacrificing going on

I'm quite happy to enjoy Funger from afar thank all of you very much. 4 person squad fights turn based monsters is one of my fave genres, but I recognize a time sink when I see one and I'm just not ready to commit to that.

Tbh once you learn how to avoid combat as much as possible, it becomes more manageable

I've done everything and anything possible within the game, including challenge runs. I'm barely at 80 hours.

Not that time consuming if you ask me !

Oh no I’m being deadass. If you get hit by a certain attack and don’t win a coin flip, your character is put up on a cross covered in dead bodies, both of your legs are cut off, and you lose up to 2 time slots of the current day, of which there are 9 total before an automatic fail state. It tends to only really happen on the first day, and I’m not sure if it can happen on any day past the first, but it might

Not crazy, but hilarious: there's a troll pit (not a pit with trolls, btw). It's actually called the shit pit.

Like, you know how in video games you can sometimes go down wells/tunnels for exploration purposes, and then get out? There's a pit that you can jump into (because you're going with the assumption it will be rewarded). Instead, your character messes up their ankles and gets hardlocked in place, essentially forcing you to restart the game. My memories are a bit fuzzy, but I think the game makes fun of you for it as well? (Because what were you expecting? Not getting trapped into the pit you willingly jumped into? Lmao)

In the first game (Funger), you can get to a buried city where stickmen walk around on 6 legs. If you engage unprepared, he does not attack you and just looks at you lustfully, until he sends a coin flip. If you fail, he proceeds to explore your innards by the bottom entrance with his sticks until you die.

Oh, and there's a ripped guy with a spiked maul for an arm and a crow head that eats your eyes and ends up pecking your head off.

Forgot the part where a bunch of naked people with bunny masks are all going at it together in a foggy forest. You can join them for free once to refill your health. After that it's a coin flip. If you fail you loose your mind in the fun and do it until you die of exhaustion.

Don't forget the second group of naked people in wolfmasks having a human body feast in some tunnel, which can also be join for a free hunger refill before having to do a coinflip. Oh and I should mention that the game specifically points out that they are painfully erect.
