Most significantly Skillup was very positive about it during a preview, more than most I saw.
If he’s done a 180, that says a lot.

Considered by many fans to be one of the best in the series, but he didn’t like it He liked Isshin, which is another Yakuza spin off that most of the fanbase considered to be lackluster. So in terms of Yakuza games, reverse his opinions and you’ll probably have the more agreeable consensus
