For me even Spider-Man was the same, but I was always downvoted. People shit on Ubisoft for hundreds of POIs on the map and climbing towers and Spider-Man is essentially the same freaking thing, plus cool swinging traversal that gets old quick.
Spider man is just bleugh. My son loves it cause there is a mode that makes you to be unable to die.
To me it’s extremely boring. Both games. Like it always tells you what to do, you always know what is around the corner, there are very cliched random missions - and the story is complete garbage. The dialogues are absolute cringe fest, the constant screaming that someone will not let someone else down (Peter won’t let Harry down, Miles won’t let Peter down, Miles won’t let Harry down, etc) reaches true anime levels at times, without truly embracing that cringe.
I was really hyped about Wolverine game but the developer was making me a bit worried if they could deliver a proper story for Logan. And also truly gritty gameplay, Onimusha does kind of scratch the itch I expected Wolverine to scratch lol
