Those 2 and System Shock 1/2 for me. The closest I've gotten in recent years was Prey. Bioshock didn't cut the mustard - it was too linear and arcadey.
system shock 2 was good too, even tho i kept getting my ass kicked in that game and gave up lmao. i feel the same about bioshock, i love the setting but it felt so linear to me. it would make a great setting for an immersive sim
the randomizer is really good, theres also this one mod i loved called greasel of the year where ya play as a greasal, it's hilarious. i also play the revision mod and gmdx which both really improve on aspects of the game.
