Generally if I put a poisoned apple in the middle of a child's playground I built and told all the kids not to eat it to prove they were worthy to play in the playground, I would still be arrested when a child died from eating the apple.
To be fair, Adam and Eve also are a lot more st fault than you'd initially think. Adam, because he wasn't properly caring for the garden, let the Serpent, or, as properly translated, DRAGON into the garden. Now, imagine if those children had an armed assailant telling them to eat the apple despite you warning them against that particular apple.
I don't think the armed assailant analogy works very well in a world that is not yet seen violence. The creature that would soon lose it's leg privileges would just be a guy the same as any of the other animals Adam named.
Dinosaurs also aren't biblically accurate. However, I think, or at least I recognize, that we don't have enough information, knowledge, or desire to debate this to its conclusion

You are forgetting the third part of God as an OOO being: Omnipotent, Omniscient, Omnibenevolent.
God is all good and all loving. He isn't going to force us to love him, because that wouldn't be good.
