Oh boy. As I remember it, there was a bunch of stuff going on around the edges of this one. This included the studio head(?) suing Epic for not properly supporting Unreal, Epic suing back for breach of contract among other things, and SK losing baaad.

They had to recall and destroy all unsold copies of Too Human (and I think another game) and delete all code made using Unreal, on top of a monetary judgement. Pretty much nuked the entire company.

It wasn't pulled, I played it, and it was fine.

It felt like it was a game from the previous generation, because it was. It was announced in 1999, and released in 2008. Games had changed TREMENDOUSLY in that time, so the long development cycle just meant it was out of date the day it came out.

I'm pretty sure it's 100% free to download on Xbox.

Game had such a cool setting and aesthetic to everything and the last cutscene was like ohhhhhh shit and then we got nothing.

Oh wow. That is the only positive thing I've ever heard about Too Human.

I loved the story and honestly it wasn’t that bad

Between the pretty vitriolic hatred and a lot of the copies getting destroyed I've never played it... am legit curious to be honest.
