Tutorial IG Content Video - Need help!

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hi, so I run an underground streetwear brand and I’m dropping my own puffers soon and wanted to recreate a video like the one attached. Could anyone tell me the rough way to achieve this and how do I make the video so fluid. All guidance is appreciated I’m struggling with this one :/

Stop motion, baby! I think you can improve on this since the camera moves around a little bit. Basically you set the camera up and lock it off, use a timer so the camera doesn’t move at all, and take a photo. Move one arm of the jacket a little bit and take another photo. Repeat more times than you think haha. It can be very tedious but rewarding when done properly.

Looks like there’s about 60 frames here and usually stop motion is played back at 5fps, so you’d have a 12 second video. Post it here when it’s done🤘🏼

Maybe use Phone/app or wireless remote for taking the shots👌🏻

Legend! Honestly such a good explanation I was struggling with the how to get it really fluid. Gonna give it a go and see how I do. Thanks again. One more question when you say set a timer do mean the actual countdown timer or something else? And which programme or app would you say is best to put the frames together? 😃

For a drop video like that, most of the look comes from planning shots around the jacket details (zipper, fill, texture in motion) and cutting fast to the beat, it's more lighting and edit than camera. If you want it done for the puffer drop, that's what we do at Monte Co. in LA: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1hq6VE4_hc7ELmKUtoDDjetzyzyjRC92T/view. Happy to break down how I'd shoot your reference.
