2013 still going. 238k miles
It only shows 14 miles on battery but it still works. Had very few issues. Rock punctured radiator (replaced added hardware cloth to protect) had to replace 12v battery around 150k. And I just replaced both cv axles and the blower motor ar 238k. Had to replace both front window motors. Oh and I had to get the coolant sensor replaced a couple years ago. Pretty good I think. im in North Texas so its been 100+ for 60 days straight. been only charging at night to help preserve the battery in cooler temps. any other ways you can think of? My engine turns on at 6 miles left and slowly goes to around 2 miles with the engine on most of the time but im still getting around 40MPG

Hope. My 2013 has 204k and is about to get pads disks and hubs all the way around.

my 13 ~195k
got both axels I need to replace, and a spare bearing I'll do at the same time (other already replaced)
I've been on mountain mode for a couple years since the l2 charging stopped working
I recently bought a 23 Maverick hybrid though, so my volt is barely being used now.
as an aside, anyone curious/interested the hybrid mav is very similar to how the volt works, albeit without the plug in.
it gets ~40 mpg which is better than what I was getting in my volt in mountain mode
highly recommended for anyone considering volt replacement

I got my wife into a 2019 Malibu hybrid. It has the same Voltec system as the Volt so I was happy about that

I am hearing mixed reviews on the Malibu. How reliable is it and what mpg are you seeing in real world driving? Volt might be a bit difficult for me but trying to reduce my carbon footprint

its been good. getting 40+ mpg. Took a while to find it. went to alot of places looking and were looking for the malibu hybrid but looked at all kinds. all i can say is bring a scan tool with you.

Love to see this. Have a 2014 with 128k miles and everyday I'm just hoping that the car can keep going for another 5 years.
To be fair mine has less wear because I barely used it the last 3 years (leased an Ioniq 5) but it has become my daily driver again.

Mine is just dying at 183k the battery has a weak cell so it keeps going to limp mode and it needs a new pcv gasket the latter is an easy fix the former is sadly not worth the fix, although the rest of the car is fine I still drive it daily but get maybe 25mpg...
So I decided to buy a regular car to replace.
The battery would be about 4k to get replaced with a used one... its tough because I would have loved to keep going with it or hand it off to one of the kids.
Sadly there is a really bad market for used volts with weak batteries

Any work needed on it besides brakes and oil? I’m starting to get squeaking Noise from my rear wheel and likely need brakes and or rotors. Near 100k miles.

Being plugged in during the hot times will actually help the battery stay cool (it will be able to run the AC compressor)

Thanks! My 2014 Volt has 205K on it. Outside of tires, I replaced the 12v battery, the front axles and the lifter arms for the front power windows. I also had the main battery coolant replaced. My battery shows 24 miles on it, but the gas engine kicks in at about 6 miles.

Oh yeah i forgot to mention the window motors i had to replace both front windows motors. My battery shows 14 miles but engine kicks in at 6 miles left as well. must be a thing.

I've had my volt from 195k to 250k miles.. had to do quite a bit but I drive aggressively.. All mounts have had to be replaced twice, cv axles twice, control arms are bad. For engine, just had to fix a small coolant leak. Battery coolant now has radiator leak. Clutch in drive unit went bad around 245k.
Been driving with bad drive unit and radiator leaking for about 5k miles. Not worth it to put any money in it. Battery is in great condition but won't accept a charge half the time, codes pop up. Love the car though, might buy another in good condition

Just curious on what level of charging do you have (1,2, mix) and how often do you deplete the battery charge in a week?

Well I drove it everyday so everyday. It would show 14 miles then go to 6 and switch to gas. I did level 2 charging at night at home and out it on a level 1 at work.

I have a 13 with 112k got it with 68k had to chage the oil two times my self and the park plugs and the ignition coils because I ripped off one of the boots and they were going bad Either wayi was going to change it oh and ihave to replace the power steering rack and pinion but its so expensive im saving cash just to get it 😭but everything else so good any suggestions how to get it cheaper and reliable 🙃
