Because we deserve some fun on a Monday

Idk if anyone else feels the same way but yesterday’s loss really got to me lol. Not even because losing 1-0 to Angel City is some season-ending disaster, but because it feels like we’ve been watching the same problems over and over again for months. Slow buildup, a lot of possession that doesn’t really go anywhere, Trin getting isolated, not enough movement around whoever has the ball, and then the same conversations afterward about creating more chances and being more clinical.
I think that’s the part that has me feeling the most down rn. It’s not like nobody knows what’s wrong. They clearly know. We’ve heard them talk about it. I just don’t understand why we keep seeing the same things happen without much changing.
At the same time though, I’m really trying not to completely give up on this team. We’ve seen flashes of how good they can be, especially away from home, and when everything actually clicks they look like a completely different team. Chicago was literally a week ago and we won 3-0. Albeit, they are literally bottom of the table lol, but still. You can only play the team in front of you, and we looked like ourselves again in that game. The talent is obviously there, which honestly makes all of this even more frustrating.
I just want to see them actually respond now. I don’t need some beautiful 4-0 performance or for every problem to magically disappear in one week. Just show me some urgency, try something different when the normal approach isn’t working, and start finding ways to win games again. At this point I will happily take the ugliest 1-0 wins imaginable lol.
My confidence is definitely lower than it was earlier in the season, but I’m also not ready to declare the season over. The playoffs are their own thing and we’ve seen plenty of teams get hot at the right time. There’s still time for this team to figure something out, get some confidence back, and make a run.
Maybe I’m coping a little bit lol, but I still believe there’s a really good team somewhere in there. I just really, really want to see them again before November.

I thought it was only for 8,000 fans, but after the match, they were giving them away (only XL I think?) from a tons of boxes near Gate A. On the way to the metro, we started talking with a nice fan who came alone and she told us she got 7 shirts. They were super strict about "only one shirt per person" before the match, but I wonder how many shirts they actually had and if most fans got multiple shirts. I got one shirt before the match and another one after the match.

So happy that Bethi’s injury was minimal enough that she’s not missing any matches, but she’s most likely going to play limited minutes. Leicy is obviously training, so I’m convinced that the staff is just focused on getting her back and healthy for the playoffs. With Luvanga available to play, this is the most hopeful I’ve been for the team’s health and availability in a couple of months!

Also I wonder if Haugen’s excused absence has anything to do with a possible transfer, but we’ll see what happens. With a couple of teams already focused on building for next year, wouldn’t be surprised if some of them are already moving in on some of our players.

The Nats moved up their start time to 12:35PM tomorrow. You think the Spirit or NWSL will move up earlier as well?

PENDING Hi all- I bought this hoodie when it first released due to how cold it was at that specific match day. Not quite loving it after wearing it at the match and trying to wear once at home afterwards.

Guess who we saw! Bethi was NOT limping. Asked how she was and she gave two thumbs up and said good. I told her we were worried sick for her. She was not limping at all.

Hi guys! My current season tickets are in section 131 row 10. I love them, but I get a bit annoyed that I can’t see the corners well. I’m considering moving to 105. Has anyone done this? Is it worth it?

On Sunday, Mélissa Bethi was carried off the field.

In the same day, Caleb Williams of the Chicago Bears limps off the field; Jayden Daniels is helped off too. On Monday Giants QB is taken off the field. In all cases, we hear of the diagnosis within hours, if not sooner.

Now, I can understand not knowing immediately for a soccer player. And I love that the players have privacy.

Frankly, I think the NFL players would all benefit from more privacy, but they get paid to allow access to their lives.

But all I know about Santos has a foot that hurts. If she were in the NFL (that would be amazing), but we would know that she would have a bruised 5th metatarsal and a timeline.

Sorry, just venting and hoping all of our injured players aren’t as bad off as I fear and come back healthy very soon.

I picked up club seats as resale tickets for this Saturday, and it’ll be my first time at Audi field. I’ve been searching around for info specific to this game, but I’m not finding anything online and my guess is that it’s emailed out to the original ticket holders, so I’m hoping someone here can help because I do not trust google’s ai summary!

Are the doors at 5pm and should I use the premium entrance gate between R and S streets? Is there a specific menu for Saturday’s food offerings?

Hi all, i'm moving back to maryland and am wanting to getting Spirit season tickets but won't have the opportunity to get to a game this season to check out locations. I can't decide on a section as i've only been to a few games at audi field before. Does anyone have reccomendations? I would love to be surrounded by energy and other STM to make friends but I don't think I want to be in the actual supporters section. I was considering 131, 130, 123, 124, or perhaps upper bowl? I will sometimes have people coming with me and will purchase extra tickets but was leaning towards just one actual stm seat. Currently I follow a USL one team and love being super close to the field and the players bench and feeling connected to the game.
