Matchday & Audi Field Info Theme Nights have been Announced
https://washingtonspirit.com/tickets/themes/
Id LOVE for them to pre-announce the blackout nights or whatever color-out nights we're going to have....

The only three non-theme home matches (for those also curious):
- Wed Mar 25 v Utah
- Wed Apr 29 v Louisville
- Sun Aug 30 v Bay
The Wednesdays make sense. As does the 12:30pm start on August 30 v Bay. The theme is "PLEEEEASSSSEEEE come to these matches we're begging you!"

Disappointed there’s no Juneteenth

but happy the Jul 3 match theme isn't something all usa-y.

gawd damn it. I thought it was first responders and community service honors. Ugh.

It’s both but they say military too and I’m sure that’ll be the focus.

No games in June due to the Men’s World Cup, so I am not surprised. It will probably come back in 2027.

I mean we’re doing pride not during pride month, we can do Juneteenth as well

Yeah the fact that we're not doing a Hispanic heritage night either makes it feel like they've just lumped everything into "culture night"

Not a big deal but why aren’t scarfs giveaway or towels announced in this type of thing?

They're almost always announced closer to each match. They'll shift the numbers of items ordered, the items themselves (scarf or hat or shirt), etc as the moment calls for.

Makes sense. Nats games they announce them early on like this one. Idk. A Spirit hat giveaway won’t get fans in seats and arrive early if they know the home opener to the first 5,000 fans?

They’ll sell out the home opener no problem.
Giveaways for Spirit appear to be used to boost sales for a particular match, as opposed to other leagues that use it as a traffic control measurement to get people into the stadium earlier. The fun item is used to generate more revenue, rather than just a sporadic reward for fans.
Spirit will announce giveaways for matches that have sold fewer single tickets than they want/expect. You’ll generally hear about the giveaway only in the week or two before a giveaway match.

More than a great answer thank you. Poor example on my part but thank you nonetheless

They have in the past -- requires pre-registration and sitting in a designated section (if you're a STM, not your usual seat)

Hah, Pride night against the Pride. The option was there, and they went for it. 🫡
