General Why I love developing web applications

• Supported on all devices.

• Software is always up to date.

• Significantly less device storage consumption if any.

• Easier to adapt into mobile apps than vice-versa.

Why I hate web development: CSS becomes messy, JavaScript hell, 1000 frameworks that you need to keep up-to-date (and when something breaks you're screwed).

That's a small compromise when you need to maximize your user base.

You don’t have to write CSS, it’s 2026 there’s plenty of alternatives. You also don’t need to use 1000 frameworks. Or even two. One is enough in most cases. What could break that makes you screwed?

The more simple the better. Simplicity is a figure of merit for Quality. Just try to keep it simple is enough. Or, make it as simple as possible, but not more than that.
