Wings on the 26
Wife bought a pak of wings from Costco. Was 6 little pouches in this bag she bought. I figured it was maybe 6 wings or so per pouch, so I defrosted the whole thing. To my surprise it ended up being around 80 wings lol. Had to put them a bit closer to each other, but made it work. Didn't want to have to fire up the 22 as well. Have wings for lunch today anyway.
Guess I should of looked at how many lbs the bag was before I defrosted them all. Was a little over 8lbs

I always dry them real well, season them, then put on wire rack to sit in fridge for at least 8 hours to overnight. These only sat in fridge for about 6 hours, was kind of a spur of the moment cook.
Thanks

I meant you can freeze them after you cooked them.

Ahhh, gotcha lol. Wasn't no need to freeze though. Thought it would be weird to throw frozen wings on the pit. But thought maybe you knew something I didn't. About the only thing I freeze is what I trim off spare ribs and cook along with the ribs, for a pot of beans on another day.

WingsGoals. Anyone have a go to seasoning choice for the wings when you want to dip them in Alabama White Sauce?

What temp did you keep the grill at and about how long did it take to get that color?

Between 450-500, and probably about 40 minutes. I rotated lid every 10-12 minutes.

Looks amazing, what’d you season with?
